April 14 is Be Kind to Lawyers Day!

Posted April 14, 2020

Intentionally situated between April Fool’s Day and Tax Day (traditionally), National Be Kind to Lawyers Day was created by a non-attorney to show some love to the profession. Last year, we wrote you a love note to celebrate. This year, we thought we’d lighten things up, increase the laughter quotient during these unsettling times and share some lawyer jokes with you, with a grain of salt.

What’s wrong with lawyer jokes?
Lawyers don’t think they’re funny, and nobody else thinks they’re jokes.

What’s the difference between a good lawyer and a bad lawyer?
A bad lawyer can let a case drag out for several years. A good lawyer can make it last even longer.

What’s the difference between a good lawyer and a great lawyer?
A good lawyer knows the law. A great lawyer knows the judge.

Why won’t sharks attack lawyers?
Professional courtesy.

What’s the difference between a lawyer and a liar?
Pronunciation.

What do honest lawyers and UFOs have in common?
You always hear about them, but you never see them.

In all seriousness, we truly appreciate you and all you do. We shouldn’t wait until #BeKindToLawyersDay to tell you and hope we show you how much we value our relationship in other ways all year long.
