I had a very easy and good experience with 2nd chance. Linda helped me out so much. She also informed me a lot on what was going on and how things work. Posting bail was a smooth and easy process. This was also one of the only places willing to help my fiancé, we are extremely grateful.

My brother recently used A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds (Canton, GA) to bail me out of Jail. They have several locations across the state. He was able to do it all online. Angela was very friendly, helpful and understanding about my predicament. I feel she worked efficiently to get me out, I was released so fast, I still had to wait for my ride to show up, lol. I didn't realize that I needed to report to the office to fill out paperwork until speaking with her on the phone (I was already halfway across town heading home) I work out of state 3-4 days a week, Angela was very understanding about my schedule & allowed a few days to come in to finalize the paperwork. It was all very easy to come complete. I felt comfortable in her presence. After witnessing a number of calls coming through and overhearing how she handled them I knew We pick the right bond company to bail me out. I would definitely refer A Second Chance Bail Bonds to Anyone trying to get their Loved ones out of jail!

I can't thank Angela enough for her help! It's truly remarkable; she always answers, even at unexpected times, and is always willing to assist.
Her dedication is truly superior, especially compared to the office staff, who rarely answer the phone at night and are insensitive. Angela goes the extra mile, checking every detail, and even took the time to help me while she was at home, which speaks volumes about her commitment.
I highly recommend Angela!!!!
5 stars from me.

Had the best experience at 2nd chance in Canton with Linda who went above and beyond to help me out, This is my 2nd time having to use them unfortunately, but thankfully Linda is very personable and puts you at ease and helps you with any issues along the way, making a situation nobody really wants to be in, much more pleasant,. she also helped me out with a payment plan that made things easier on the wallet. She’s just a great human being who enjoys helping people & actually likes her job. Overall a great and easy experience. I most definitely recommend calling them 1st

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about bail bonds & the bonding process.

Bail is a sum of money, property, or a surety bond promised to the court to guarantee an arrested person’s appearance in court during trial. The right to reasonable bail is guaranteed by the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
See our video “How Bail Works” to learn more.

A bail bond is a financial guarantee that you will appear for all court appearances until your case concludes or is dismissed. You pay the bail amount, and if you do not show up for court, the court will keep the bail and issue a warrant for your arrest.

Under state law, a licensed bail bonds agency can provide a type of insurance policy or “bond” that guarantees payment of the full bail amount if the defendant does not show up for their court appearances. Bail bonds agencies charge a percentage of the total bail amount to the defendant or the person who signs the bond on their behalf, plus any additional fees that occur, such as court costs.

A bail bond amount represents the full amount of bail set by the court. On the other hand, the bail premium is typically about 10% of the original bail cost, made to the defendant or guarantor’s bonding agency for posting the bond.

A co-signer is a person who signs an agreement with the bonding company for the release of an inmate who is currently incarcerated. His or her signature indicates that the co-signer guarantees that the defendant will make good on the promises outlined in the bond agreement. The co-signer is legally responsible for ensuring that the defendant for whom he or she signed appears at court on the appointed days and times. They’re also responsible for making any payment plans associated with the bond as well as informing both the court and bonding company of any updates to their or the defendant’s physical address or phone number.
